CJ XXX is a nine site network with a total of over 3,300 video scenes. While some of the content has been released on DVD in a previous life, the CJ XXX pass will prove good value if you get off on watching streety types in gritty, amateur style videos. That is what you'll find in Str8 Boyz Seduced, Defiant Boyz, Spunk Starz and Workin' Men XXX. Other sites cover a wider swath, such as the Latin men of Brazilian Studz; young Brits going condomless in Bareback Twinkz; and Asian boys in Gay Asian Twinkz and Laughing Asians. While the overall quality of the videos is average, there is a huge amount of it, plus over 75 video feeds.

Tour

The CJ XXX tour leaves much to be desired. It starts off on the wrong foot, making the claim that these are "the best gay sites on the Net!!!" A single page briefly describes each of the sites in the network and you can click to watch a 90-second Flash video and see thirty thumbnails. There is no way to get to the individual site tours from here. And even if you did go to the individual sites, those tours don't provide a lot of detail either.

Usability

Navigation on the CJ XXX sites is pretty easy, but barebones. While the design and navigation is not identical among them, it is consistent in the key areas of the main menu, video indexes and video options. But there are no search boxes or model indexes, and little cross-referencing between models and scenes or even between corresponding photosets and videos.

The Men and the Action

As mentioned, there is a variety of men on these sites but gay-for-pay guys with an edge predominate. The action runs the gamut from solos to hardcore fucking and group scenes. There are usually detailed text descriptions of the action and a few of the sites also have video interviews.

Str8 Boyz Seduced - regular looking amateur guys, from Sneek Peek Studios (630 scenes). Lots of solos and scenes with the guys having sex with the producer.

Defiant Boyz - young amateurs, including many skaters and boarders, from Defiant Productions (1005 scenes).

Spunk Starz - young amateurs, from High Drive Productions (146 scenes).

Workin' Men XXX - older, plain, sometimes out of shape men (420 scenes).

Bareback Twinkz - British boys barebacking, from Rentboy Studio (not to be confused with the well-known escort site) (110 scenes).

Brazilian Studz - Latin men from Alexander Pictures (325 scenes).

Gay Asian Twinkz - original video of young Asian guys (330 scenes).

Laughing Asians - original video of young Asians in tickling situations (360 scenes).

The quality of the videos is average but in part depends on the originating studio. The best quality are Bareback Twinkz and Brazilian Studz, which have good light, camera angles and a finished look to them. The two Asian sites also have quite good quality videos, but are one camera shoots without a lot of fancy camerawork. Workin' Men and Defiant Boyz are single camera shoots, average to good quality. Straight Boyz Seduced are single camera shoots and below average quality.

Video Details

There are a whopping 3300 DRM-free videos on CJ XXX as of this review, with about 5 updates added per week.

Image and Other Content

Image content varies between the sites as well. Workin' Men Movies and Str8 Boyz Seduced don't have any image galleries; Defiant Boyz has vidcap sets but no digital photosets. Spunk Starz and Bareback Twinkz have photosets but no vidcap sets. Brazilian Studz and the Asian sites have both. Vidcaps are generally 640x480 pixels in size and digital photosets are around 960x640 pixels. They can be downloaded as zip files.

CJ also provides a pile more content in the form of video feeds -- 75 in all.

The price of a monthly recurring membership is $29.95, which is reasonable. But if you want a one month non-recurring membership, you'll be dinged for $49.95 -- $10 more than is standard.

Summing Up

While the quality varies a lot, there's a hell of a lot of video on CJ XXX. If you like to watch real amateurs and you're not looking for polished porn you will find some very hot stuff here.
