Boycrush is a large twink site featuring a smooth-n-creamy roster of 18- to 23-year-old American gay boys. These luscious young guys are featured in excellent quality videos where they jerk solo, and fuck enthusiastically with each other. In interviews and in interactions with each other, the guys have a genuine and unguarded quality that's very refreshing. Video options have improved immensely over the past year and over two-thirds play in 720 px high-definition; access to all the videos on Bare Twinks is also included.

Tour

The Boy Crush tour leaves something to be desired. The main video index has just one large thumbnail image per scene along with a title. To even get a text description of the scenes you have to dig into the model index. There are no video clips provided at all. But if you click on "About Us" you will find some information about what the site is all about, and on the join page there is a description of what formats and video sizes are available. Work needed here.

Usability

The members' homepage features pics and text descriptions for the five most recent episodes. There are the usual buttons across the top of each page for the important areas like the Videos, the Photos, the Models and the Video Feeds. You can use a drop down list to select by numerous categories and another to sort by date or popularity. But there was one oddity: if you happen to do any selection of videos (by model or category) and then later on click the main "Videos" link you don't get the full video index; instead you have to click a "Clear" button to get rid of the search you did a while back.

The Men and the Action

The site's amateur models fit into the 18- to 23-year-old range, and there is an impressive assortment of big dicks, washboard abs, bubble butts and flawless smiles, along with some tats and piercings for variety. Some of the guys are more conventionally cute, while others are more challenging and alternative looking. A few have the "Emo" look, with masses of swooshy hair in wild colors, along with matching nail polish. And they're gay!

While Boy Crush is a condom site, content from its bareback equivalent, Bare Twinks, is included alongside Boy Crush's.

A fairly unique aspect of Boycrush is the detailed interviews. If you're a die-hard twink fan then you'll be interested in what the guys have to say, and this is an aspect of the site that was developed in direct response to members wishes. There's also lots of bio information and an active comments area. Most of the videos are shot indoors and many scenes finish with one or both of the guys lapping up a generous creamy facial.

Playback quality is excellent for the HD videos and still very good for the non-HD ones. The lighting and sound are taken care of expertly. Although the camera work is steadily improving, the videos sometimes lack a variety of medium shots. We'd like to see the camera moving more fluidly around these cute young models, with not quite so many extreme closeups. On the upside: the cumshots of those slurpy facials are almost always caught.

Video Details

As of this review there are 660 exclusive videos averaging 20 minutes on Boy Crush (including 100 from Bare Twinks). Two new videos are added each week and there is no DRM, so you can download and watch for years to come.

Image and Other Content

Each video is accompanied by a video capture set of around 180 pics. There are also galleries of 20 to 50 pics for each individual model on his bio page. Recent vidcaps are 960x540 px and very good quality; older ones are 640x360 or 640x480 and are good quality. The digital photo galleries for various individual models are also fine quality and a good size.There are zip files for all image sets.

Finally, the Boycrush deal is sweetened just a little by a cache of 94 bonus videos in the "Feeds" section. These aren't video feeds so we're not sure why they are calling them that; they are videos from affiliated websites.

Summing Up

Boy Crush has grown up, but its models remain boyishly fresh. Along with an abundance of creamy skin, hairless chests, rad piercings and large boners, there is an easy banter between them that reminds us: sex is for fun - and even if you're young, you can always use a good facial! Just like webmaster "Bry", if you like twinks you're bound to develop a crush or two on this site.
