This year Randy Blue reached an amazing 1000 videos, and over a ten year period they have kept their standards very high. But the site is in need of a redesign, it still uses DRM on its videos, and the tour and members areas have upsells for their one-on-one live sex service.

Tour

Randy Blue's tour tells you exactly what you'll find inside. Just click on "Models", "Videos" or "Photos" to find sample pictures and preview videos for every one of the 525 models and for every video on the site. However, you will also be bombarded with ads for the live sex, leading you to wonder what this site is all about. (A few live one-on-one minutes are included with a membership, but after that you pay for one-on-one chat.)

Usability

Navigating Randy Blue is a cinch. Everywhere you go in the site you'll find thoughtful search tools, cross-referencing, and buttons to help you explore the masses of content. On the home page you will see the buttons for the latest updates of video, photosets and feature models. Click on the horizontal text links to find:

- "Models" for an alphabetical list of all the exclusive guys
- "Videos" for exclusive videos
- "Photos" for exclusive pics
- "Live" for the live shows

When you go to any individual video page you will see a "Play Preview" option for the video. Down the page you'll be able to access the various playback and download options. However, the design is now looking somewhat dated and verging on information overload.

Randy has shot video and still images of 525 men since the site launched. In addition to hot men in sexy, high quality movies, the site's personality is very defined. The colorful and intimate descriptions of the men and the episodes on Randy Blue definitely do exude personality, and a knack for recruiting handsome, fit studs.

Check out the "search" and the "niche" options in the model index and you'll see the types of guy on offer. They range in age from 18-30, with the majority in their mid-20s. There are some college guys, some more muscular guys with sexy stubble, and some lightly furred chests and asses. At review time there were 525 models appearing in more than 1020 videos. About one third of the videos are duos or groups, pairing up the models in often highly anticipated combinations. This huge site is updated with exclusive video three times a week. Unlike most sites these days, there are strong DRM restrictions: if you remain a member of the site for more than two months you will have full access to all of your downloaded videos for as long as you like; however, this requires that you re-view the videos that you downloaded during the first 60 days in order to unlock them.

Image and Other Content

Some websites don't put much care into photos, but Randy Blue is different. Because his background is in photography, his professional quality digital photosets -- over 1500, -- are second to none. They can be viewed in two different sizes and either one at a time or in slideshow mode. The live shows are another feature of Randy Blue, and offer a more personal look at many of Randy's top models. These are some of the best quality live shows around, but beware of the effort to sell you expensive private chat credits.

Summing Up

Randy Blue is a treasure trove of handsome, masculine men in high-quality exclusive video, photos and live shows. But the site is due for a re-design, the DRM restrictions are a minus, and the emphasis on the live show upsells is a turn-off.
